In the Chattahoochee hill country, just west of Atlanta, a new way of developing land for a new kind of life has emerged. The place is called Serenbe and it’s fast becoming known as America’s front porch community. Praised for its emphasis on protecting green space, encouraging wellness and community, Serenbe is also the home of a barn and surrounding pastures so iconic, Hollywood chose it as the location for a blockbuster action film.
Today, soul barn at serenbe is a merging of multiple intentions—equine lessons and training (of course!) but also equine healing work, groundwork and soulful based programming for life enrichment along with limited full-time boarding opportunities.
From acclaimed sound baths to Buddhist awareness meditation to soul barn yoga to spiritual thought leaders and speakers, you don’t have to own a horse to experience our sacred pastures and their special occupants.
The barn is nestled in the midst of the pastures surrounded by the hamlets of serenbe. Designed in 2007 by architect Peter Block and built by Walter Hope Construction, it is a memorable vista that has become a signature serenbe calling card. www.serenbe.com.
This dazzling oak tree anchors the sacred courtyard where so many of our events with the herd take place. She’s the guardian and the mother of this magical space.
The land surrounding the stable has been known to bring a soothing, peaceful energy to the people who live in our hamlets and also our visitors while serving as a beautiful home for our resident shamans.
